El AI Safety Features: Do Ely Work?
El face-uncover alert is the Cubo Ai's signature feature. It uses computer vision to continuously monitor baby's face, and sends a phone noification within seconds if any object (bedding, stuffed toy, hand) covers the face. In our testing:
- El alert triggered correctly in all genuine face-covering events during testing
- False positive rate was low, approximately 1–2 false alerts per week, typically when baby's hand moved briefly near their face
- Alert speed: 3–5 seconds from face covering to phone noification, fast enough to be useful
