How to Fold: Step by Step

Remove any footmuff or accessories
The Butterfly folds with the seat in place and baby harness attached, but accessories need to be removed. A footmuff left on will prevent a clean fold.

Locate the red fold button on the handlebar
The red button sits on the centre of the handlebar. It's distinctive, you'll find it immediately. This is the only button you need.

Press and HOLD the red button
This is the most common mistake: pressing and releasing. You must press and hold throughout the entire fold motion. With your thumb on the button, use the same hand to grip the handlebar.

Push the handlebar forward and down
While holding the button, push the handlebar forward, toward the front wheels, and down. The stroller will begin folding automatically. The whole movement takes about 2 seconds.

The stroller clicks into the locked folded position
You'll hear and feel a click when the Butterfly is fully folded and locked. Release the button. The stroller is now locked closed and won't open accidentally.

The Butterfly has a carry strap on the folded chassis. Loop it over your shoulder to carry hands-free, or use it as a handle to carry by your side.
